Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: 18 June 2026  |  Company: Five Fur Domestic Pets Grooming L.L.C S.O.C

These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings and services provided by Five Fur Domestic Pets Grooming L.L.C S.O.C ("Five Fur", "we", "our", or "us").

By booking an appointment, using our website, communicating with us, or allowing us to groom your pet, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Services

Five Fur provides mobile pet grooming services at the client's location, subject to availability, service area, pet suitability, and team capacity.

Services may include bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, trimming, nail care, ear and eye cleaning, hygiene trimming, deshedding, medicated baths, teeth brushing, and other grooming-related services depending on the package booked.

The final service provided may depend on the pet's coat condition, behaviour, health, safety, and tolerance during grooming.

2. Bookings and Appointments

Appointments must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.

The client is responsible for providing accurate information, including:

  • Pet type, breed, size, age, and coat condition
  • Grooming requirement
  • Behavioural issues, anxiety, aggression, or fear
  • Medical conditions, allergies, skin issues, injuries, or sensitivities
  • Correct address and access instructions
  • Parking or community entry details where required

Five Fur may contact the client before the appointment to confirm details or request additional information.

3. Arrival Time and Delays

We do our best to arrive on time. However, as a mobile grooming service, timing may be affected by traffic, parking, weather, community access, previous appointments, or unexpected delays.

A reasonable arrival window may apply. If there is a delay, we will try to inform the client as soon as possible.

The client must ensure that the pet is available and ready at the scheduled time.

4. Cancellation, Rescheduling and No-Show Policy

Free cancellation or rescheduling is available when the client informs us more than 8 hours before the scheduled appointment time.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 8 hours before the appointment may be subject to an AED 60 cancellation fee.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 2 hours before the appointment may be charged at 50% of the booked service value.

If our team arrives for the appointment and the service cannot be completed because the client is unavailable, the pet is unavailable, the location is inaccessible, or we are unable to reach the client, the booking may be treated as a no-show.

In case of a no-show, 100% of the booked service value may be charged.

Five Fur may waive or reduce cancellation charges in genuine emergency situations at its discretion.

5. Client Responsibilities

The client must:

  • Ensure the pet is ready at the appointment time
  • Avoid feeding the pet at least 1 hour before grooming where possible
  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the location
  • Inform us in advance of any medical, skin, behavioural, or safety concerns
  • Ensure the pet has relieved itself before the grooming session where possible
  • Keep aggressive, highly anxious, or medically fragile pets disclosed before booking
  • Ensure someone authorised is available during the appointment if required

Failure to provide accurate information may affect the grooming outcome and may result in refusal, delay, incomplete service, or additional charges.

6. Pet Health and Behaviour

The client confirms that the pet is fit for grooming unless disclosed otherwise.

The client must inform Five Fur before the appointment if the pet has or may have:

  • Skin infection
  • Open wounds
  • Fleas, ticks, mites, or parasites
  • Ringworm or suspected contagious condition
  • Ear infection or discharge
  • Recent surgery
  • Pregnancy
  • Heart, breathing, neurological, or mobility issues
  • Severe anxiety or aggression
  • History of biting or extreme stress during grooming

Five Fur reserves the right to refuse, stop, or modify the service if we believe grooming may be unsafe or unsuitable for the pet or our team.

If grooming cannot be completed due to aggression, distress, health concerns, unsafe conditions, or undisclosed issues, charges may still apply.

7. Grooming Risks

Five Fur follows professional grooming practices and takes reasonable care to keep pets safe and comfortable.

However, grooming may involve certain risks, especially for pets with matted coats, sensitive skin, old age, anxiety, medical conditions, parasites, poor coat condition, or behavioural challenges.

Possible grooming-related issues may include:

  • Minor nicks, cuts, or irritation
  • Razor sensitivity or clipper marks
  • Skin redness or itching
  • Stress-related tiredness after grooming
  • Discovery of pre-existing wounds, lumps, infections, parasites, or skin problems
  • Uneven haircut results where the coat is matted, damaged, or difficult to handle

Five Fur is not responsible for pre-existing conditions, undisclosed health or behavioural issues, or reactions caused by the pet's coat condition, skin condition, anxiety, movement, or natural behaviour.

8. Matted Coats

Matted coats can be painful and may hide skin problems, wounds, parasites, irritation, or infection.

If a pet is matted, comfort and safety will take priority over appearance. In many cases, shaving or close clipping may be the safest and most humane option.

The client accepts that removing mats may reveal pre-existing skin issues and may result in a shorter haircut than expected.

Additional charges may apply for severe matting, extra handling time, or extended grooming work.

9. Service Outcome

We always aim to provide high-quality grooming, but final results depend on the pet's coat condition, behaviour, tolerance, health, and the service selected.

For safety and comfort, our groomers may adjust the grooming style or stop certain parts of the service if the pet becomes too stressed, aggressive, tired, or unsafe to continue.

Aesthetic preferences are important, but pet safety and comfort come first.

10. Pricing and Payment

Prices are shared before booking or before the service begins, depending on the available information.

Final pricing may change if the pet's size, coat condition, matting, behaviour, service requirement, or add-ons differ from the information initially provided.

Full payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed.

Five Fur may request advance payment, partial payment, or a payment link for selected bookings.

VAT may apply where required.

11. Refunds and Complaints

Refunds are not provided for completed services unless there is proven negligence or a clear service failure.

If the client has a concern, they must contact Five Fur as soon as possible, preferably within 24 hours of the grooming session, with clear details and supporting photos or videos where relevant.

We will review complaints fairly and may offer a correction, partial adjustment, credit, or other solution at our discretion.

Five Fur is not responsible for issues reported after an unreasonable delay, especially where the pet's condition may have changed after the appointment.

12. Refusal of Service

Five Fur reserves the right to refuse or stop service if:

  • The pet is aggressive or unsafe to handle
  • The pet appears unwell or medically unfit for grooming
  • The pet has a suspected contagious condition
  • The client has not disclosed important information
  • The location is unsafe or inaccessible
  • The client behaves abusively or unreasonably toward our team
  • Payment issues or repeated cancellations occur

In such cases, charges may still apply depending on the situation.

13. Photos, Videos and Grooming Updates

Five Fur may take photos or videos of pets during or after grooming for service updates, grooming records, training, quality control, or marketing.

If the client does not want their pet's photos or videos used for marketing, they should inform us.

We will not intentionally share personal address details or private client information in public content.

14. Liability

Five Fur takes reasonable care while handling every pet.

However, Five Fur is not liable for:

  • Pre-existing medical, skin, coat, or behavioural conditions
  • Undisclosed health or aggression issues
  • Natural behaviour responses such as sudden movement, biting, scratching, jumping, or panic
  • Minor grooming irritation, especially in sensitive or matted pets
  • Issues caused by severe matting, parasites, old age, anxiety, or poor coat condition
  • Events outside our reasonable control, including traffic, weather, access restrictions, or emergencies

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.

15. Force Majeure and Events Beyond Our Control

Five Fur is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or failure to provide service caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including traffic disruption, extreme weather, vehicle issues, accidents, community access restrictions, government restrictions, illness, emergencies, or other unexpected events.

16. Changes to Services, Prices or Terms

Five Fur may update its services, prices, policies, and Terms and Conditions from time to time.

The latest version will be published on our website and will apply to bookings made after the updated effective date.

17. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the applicable laws and regulations of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai, where applicable.
